RABBET PLANE

MOVING FILLISTER PLANE
A moving fillister plane is a rabbet plane that has a fence to assist in cutting a straight rabbet joint. This type of hand plane is the most preferred style of rabbet plane because of it’s accuracy and ease of cutting a rabbet joint. A router plane is a joinery hand plane that flattens the bottom of a dado joint, rabbet joint, tenon, or mortise. Router planes come as a wood plane or metal handplane.
